I've been getting consistently good service here for several years now. They communicate clearly about what's going on with your vehicle and what your options are. They have quick turnover times. They even once performed follow up service under warranty a little past the warranty window. My 2004 Yukon battery light started flashing in Verona because the battery wasn't charging, however I made it into Bloomington on fumes where the car died in the hotel parking lot. It was 7 pm on a Monday when I left a message on the Advanced Auto Care voicemail. At 730 AM Tuesday, Riley called and asked some questions to help diagnose the issue. We agreed it was the alternator. He ordered one and helped me get a tow to his shop BEFORE they were open. Ricks Towing came out hooked the truck and took it to the Advanced shop. Riley had the part delivered and they had me on the road before 11 am on Tuesday! Unbelievable service. He knew I was on a business trip and needed to get moving and they prioritized my vehicle to get me on the road. They were honest, sincere and they are craftsman. They even adjusted the cable for my spare tire in the back of the truck that was dangling loose at no charge. Great people. I highly recommend them. John Joyce

This place is hands down the best in town probably in state for that matter. Justin, Jack and the guys down at advanced know how to treat people the right way. These guys are the best! Brought my VW in with what I thought was an overheating issue. First off I'm fairly competent turning a wrench but i don't know diddly about foreign cars and I was super nervous taking it in anywhere to get it looked at. If you own a German you know that shlit is super expensive. Luckily there were two mechanics there with backgrounds in foriegns who diagnosed it and got back to me before the end of the day. Their prices were bar none the best deal I could find anywhere around bloomington and they took the time to explain everything to me. Their customer service is amazing and there's something to be said about honest mechanics who aren't trying to bend you over a barrel on price. Wish I could remember names so I could shout them out personally but I'm gonna recommend these guys to everyone I know. Five stars ain't enough stars.

Advanced Auto Care is more than accommodating. Working with their friend’s, Rick’s Towing. My truck’s front two sealed hubs were gone. I called, and got an appointment, had it picked up and towed to there shop on Wednesday morning. They literally got it fixed between that day and Thursday morning. Awesome as all get out!! Even in the future when I move out of this county, I plan on bringing my truck here. The folks here are friendly, greet you when you come in the door. The mechanic will talk to you, and let you know whats wrong with the vehicle. Always wonderful hospitality here!

Will not use any parts except their cheap AutoZone supplied parts. If you want to bring any actual quality performance parts you’re out of luck .

Clint, I am not sure how you can accurately review us since you have never actually been a customer. Regardless, I would say that we are a NAPA AutoCare center. This is a program we pay to belong to. For that reason and a host of others, you can rest assured that we do not generally use parts from AutoZone. Because of our NAPA AutoCare affiliation, we offer a 24 month / 24,000 mile nationwide warranty. We cannot offer this warranty if we did not supply the part. The warranty is made with the purchaser and not the installer. We are always trying to ensure that when the vehicle leaves, it is fixed and will not need to come back. We rarely are concerned with the price of a part, but rather the quality. We do not install "performance" parts because we are in the repair business. We are not in the modification business. I wish you well finding someone that will modify your vehicle or install customer supplied performance parts. Most professional repair facilities do not offer this service.

Thank you for your review. You are correct that we do not allow customers to bring their own parts. Most professional repair facilities have this policy. It’s not about the money as much as it is ensuring the job will last. Parts suppliers make the warranty with the purchaser, not the installer. We offer a 2 year 24,000 mile nationwide warranty. Because of this, we have to know the job will last when it leaves. We have to know that the part installed meets certain quality standards. This is why we do not buy parts online, or from other places that you cannot be sure of the product you are getting before it arrives. I’m sorry we couldn’t help you but would say that most people that actually allow us to perform service on their vehicle have a 5 star experience.
